Automated installation:
The following ZIP files contain automated installers for the SSW Ricoh copiers, which are available in both 32 and 64 bit versions. If you do not know what the bitness of your Operating System is, please try the 64-bit version first. If it proves to be incompatible, then try the 32-bit version.
1) Download and extract the appropriate ZIP -- this will create a folder in the same location to which the ZIP file was downloaded. This folder will contain two files, and installer and a configuration file.
2) Double-click the installer to install the printer. If a security prompt appears, click Yes or OK to proceed.
3) Several windows will pop up during installation. No action is necessary and they will close automatically.
4) A message will be displayed when installation is successfully completed, and you may now use the printer.
Note: Installation must be performed while on Columbia WiFi or Ethernet. Installation will fail when attempted from off-campus.

MAC USERS:
Ricoh Pro 8300S (10th fl. SSW):
1) Download the driver for your version of MacOS from Ricoh:

2) Open the downloaded file, and double-click the driver installer, shown below, and follow the prompts to complete the installation:
3) To install the printer, open System Preferences (click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen, then System Preferences), then open "Printers & Scanners):
4) Click + to add a new printer:
5) Click the "IP tab at the top of the resulting window. Enter 10.60.108.183 in the "Address" box, and choose "LPD" in the "Protocal:" box. The Use box should then show the model of the Ricoh printer (8300S) -- if it does not, the driver has not been installed correctly in steps 1 & 2.
Click "Add":
6) The printer should now appear in your list of installed printers. To configure the stapling/finishing capabilities of the Ricoh Pro, highlight the printer in the left-hand column then click "Options & Supplies":
7) In the options tab of the resulting window, select the "SR5110" as the finisher from the drop-down menu then click OK to enable finishing features:
Ricoh MP 4055 (10th fl. SSW):
1) Download the driver for your version of MacOS from Ricoh:

2) Open the downloaded file, and double-click the driver installer, shown below, and follow the prompts to complete the installation:
3) To install the printer, open System Preferences (click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen, then System Preferences), then open "Printers & Scanners):
4) Click + to add a new printer:
5) Click the "IP tab at the top of the resulting window. Enter 10.60.108.184 in the "Address" box, and choose "Airprint" from the Protocol drop-down box.
(If "AirPrint" does not appear in to the "Use:" box at the bottom of the screen, then change "Protocol" to "LDP" -- the Use box should then show the model of the Ricoh printer (4055).)
Click "Add":
6) The printer should now appear in your list of installed printers.
